The Rock Crystal charm is sourced from Ataléia in Brazil, noted for the fineness and clarity of its stone which the ancients believed was formed by ice that had been hardened into stone through intense freezing. Vessels made from rock crystal were known in Greece and Egypt from the second millennium BC, but they were luxury products and became highly desirable among Rome's wealthiest. When Nero received news that all was lost, he became so enraged that he smashed two rock crystal cups so that they could never be used again - a measure of how valuable they were as once broken, the rock crystal couldn't be repaired.

The slightly gothic Black Onyx charm, a sister to its rock crystal counterpart, has a matte finish to the onyx along with its delicate spider cap.

The Black Pearl charm is an oversize teardrop shaped Tahitian pearl with a 20k gold clasp included. Symbolically, black pearls are associated with love, wisdom, protection and rarity. In Polynesian mythology, the god Oro descended from a rainbow to gift a black pearl to the people of Polynesia, symbolizing eternal love and divine blessing. Sailors and pirates told tales of a mystical black pearl capable of controlling the weather at sea, black pearls have often been depicted in art and folklore across cultures and civilizations. One-of-a-kind.
