This dainty ring is reminiscent of a bejeweled Orb. Instead of a customary cross mounted top it, this one has a milky aquamarine (0.84ct) cut in a "bullet" style cabochon with a band of glittering hot pink spinels (.15ct) and golden balls of granulation surrounding it.

Made in recycled 22k yellow gold, responsibly sourced aquamarine (.84ctw) and spinel (.15ctw). Size 6.5. Can be resized. Made to order.

Aqua Orb Ring #5

The Orb is an ancient symbol of imperial authority, first adopted by the Romans and later embraced by European monarchs. In the Roman Empire, the sphere represented the cosmos and the emperor’s role as Jupiter’s earthly representative. Early Christians adapted this imagery by placing a cross atop the globe, and it became a standard Christian emblem of authority from the Middle Ages onward.

This bejewelled Romanesque orb has a soft violet blue tanzanite cut in high cabochon style and framed by a band of delicious purplish Anthill garnets, golden spheres of granulation orbit around it like miniature moons.

Made to order. Please allow 8-10 weeks for its creation.
